About Johnson Grammar School
Johnson Grammar School (JGS) was founded in Hyderabad in 1979 by S.R.N. Mudiraj and has grown into a group of schools offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) and ICSE curricula. JGS has run the IB Diploma Programme at its Mallapur campus since 2008. In west Hyderabad, JGS Kokapet has been an IB World School for the Primary Years Programme since 10 April 2025, and our new campus at Mokila is under development.
We believe children learn best when they are curious, cared for and given room to think for themselves. From the way we speak to the way we teach, our teachers aim to model the values we hope our students will carry with them.
About us

A message from our Chairman

Dr B Chandra Sekhar
Chairman
Our Chairman Dr B Chandra Sekhar started his journey in the field of education in the year 1983. Being a true visionary at heart and believer in the philosophy of ‘We=Success’, trust is the biggest asset we’ve built up at the core of our organisation over the years. He firmly believes that the organisation’s success is attributed to teamwork rather than a one-person show. And that a shared vision creates unity and loyalty among all the team members leading to the feeling of credibility internally and externally.
Why families choose JGS
